I want to put a disclaimer that every person reacts differently to workout and diet regimens. This is what worked for me and why. 1. I was diagnose with Hypothyroidism that affects my hormones severaly in a similar way it does for women with endometriosis. 2. I thought that high intensity cardio and lifting heavy would get me to my goals, instead it made my appetite ravenous, causing me to binge eat because i would stress about passing my calories for the day. 3. I don't regret weightlifting one bit, I just wish I wouldn't do it so intensely as I did. 4. Pilates has made me stronger in ways weightlifting without a trainer could've ever made me. I have 0 issues in my body, and I noticed I can now do things that people even my age or younger can't do. 5. Intuitively eating not only helped me relieve the stress from calorie counting, but it made me realize that our bodies don't rely on the same amount of calories a day. We're not robots. It is normal to not eat a lot some days (and i mean even what people think is concerning), and then to eat a lot more other days. (Especially as a woman with a menstrual cycle). 6. I want to live in my best form possible, the easiest way possible. The way you make your body is how you maintain it, so don't rush into things, it'll just push back the time of you genuinely being happy.✨ If you like my views, join my workout challenges!
