Replying to @doahr1 So many comments coming in about treadmill racing from people that are very uneducated about the dogs and the sport and the mechanics of the treadmills! Dogs LOVE to run, unlike most humans in this era! Treadmills are a fantastic way to get a dogs energy out and they absolutely enjoy it! Slat mills like these are completely powered by the dog and do NOT have any type of motor. This means the dog can run at fast as they want to! Dogs do not often get the opportunity to run like this other than on a treadmill! The sport is very safe and the dogs are very well cared for! This sport does not make any money for the participants! We do this for the love of the dogs! We spend lots of money to ensure our dogs are happy and healthy!
