So many of you have been sharing your memories on our #FridayFeeling #guitar posts, how they were the soundtrack of your growing up. You've mentioned Glen Campbell so here's a friendly "Battle of Guitars" with him and Roy Clark. Enjoy! #weekend #guitarist #musicians #foryou
#FridayFeeling: Jerry's Breakdown. We're going to feature another Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins clip because for every budding guitarist, Jerry's Breakdown is a must. It's hard to learn but if you do, you can tackle just about anything. In this clip from 'Pop Goes the Country' (1975), you can see their incredible raw talent. One take, live, acoustic without any pedals, effects or ear monitors on Jerry, who is using his ring finger instead of his pointer in his classic 3-finger technique; Chet looks to have reverb and an overdrive pedal halfway through and is sweep picking while both of them are smiling and laughing. You can't hear one mistake! Incredible! #guitarists #classic #talent
Replying to @jamesreid328 On our way to play Mardi Gras, Bachman-Turner Overdrive was given a new idea for a song that would be our first Top 40 in the #USA and #3 in Canada. #rocknroll #bachmanturneroverdrive #BTO #ontheroad #LetItRide #music #guitaristsoftiktok
