These never get old 🥹 air fried churros, so easy & so delish! Ingredients (for 4 churros) -1/2 cup water -2 1/2 tbsp cold butter, cubed -3 tbsp granulated sugar, divided -large pinch salt -1/2 cup flour -1/2 tsp vanilla extract -1 egg -cooking spray -1/2 tsp cinnamon Directions: -In a medium pot over medium heat, add in the water, butter, 1 tbsp sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium low, and add in the flour. Use a spatula to stir in the flour in until it’s all incorporated. -Set the mixture into a mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly (about 5 minutes). Add in the vanilla extract and egg, and use an electric mixer or stand mixer to mix. Stop once the dough is evenly incorporated. -Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray it with cooking spray. Place the dough into a piping bag with a large star tip. Squeeze out the churros, about 5 inches long each. Use scissors to cut the dough. Place the churros into the fridge for an hour. -Preheat air fryer to 350 and spray the basket with cooking spray. Spray the churros with cooking spray and place them onto the basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. -On a plate, combine the remaining 2 tbsp sugar and cinnamon. Stir to mix, then roll the cooked churros in the sugar mixture. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the bacon on it. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove bacon and set aside on a paper towel lined plate. -Line an additional baking sheet with foil and place the hash browns on it. Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and bake for 10 minutes more. Leave oven on. -In a bowl, whisk 2 of the eggs, plus milk. Heat cooking spray in a nonstick pan over medium, then pour in the eggs. Stir and scramble the eggs until almost set. Season with a pinch of kosher salt and remove from the heat. -Lay the puff pastry out. On one of the halves, lay down the American cheese. Top that with the cooked eggs, cooked bacon, and cooked hash browns. -Whisk the remaining egg in a small bowl with a splash of water. Use a pastry brush to paint a layer off egg wash around the outside rim of the puff pastry. Def lived up to the hype - recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -kosher salt -1 pound short pasta of choice -1 tbsp olive oil -1 small yellow onion, fine diced -6 cloves garlic, minced, divided -3 tbsp tomato paste -1 lb ground beef -freshly cracked black pepper -2 tsp paprika, divided -1 tsp cayenne pepper, divided -1 cup plain Greek yogurt -1 lemon, divided -4 tbsp salted butter -1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered -1 cucumber, diced -fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish -crumbled feta, for serving Directions: -Heavily salt a pot of water and bring it to boil. Add in the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside. -Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium. Add in the onion and cook until translucent, about 8 minutes. Add in half the minced garlic, and cook about 30 seconds. Add in the tomato paste and cook about 5 minutes, until slightly darkened. -Add in the ground beef and break apart into tiny pieces. Add in a hefty pinch kosher salt, black pepper, half the paprika, and half the cayenne. Cook, stirring often, until fully dark brown and slightly crisped up. -Into a bowl, add in the Greek yogurt, a large pinch kosher salt, the other half of the minced garlic, and juice of half the lemon. Stir to mix. Set aside. -In a small pan over medium low, add in the butter, the other half of paprika, and the other half of cayenne. Cook and mix just until the butter is melted. Remove from heat. -Serve the cooked pasta in bowls, and top with the cooked beef mixture. Top that with some of the yogurt mixture and the melted butter mixture. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium high and add in the sugar. -Once it starts melting, stir it until it’s fully melted and just starting to slightly brown. Working quickly, add in a pinch of baking soda and stir. The mixture will quickly puff up. -Carefully pour the mixture into a round shape on the nonstick baking mat. Wait about 20 seconds, then flatten it with the cold pan. Quickly use the cookie cutters to press the shapes of your choosing. -To play the game, use a needle to remove the inner shape without breaking it. Mix until just evenly incorporated. Set aside. -In another large bowl, combine the puréed tomatoes, ginger, other half of the garlic, other half of the brown sugar, and gochujang. In a baking dish, lay about half the sauce. Set the other half aside. -With the thawed cabbage, peel off 8-10 leaves. Lay them down on a clean cutting board. Stuff each cabbage leaf with about 1/3 cup of the meat mixture, then roll up like mini burritos. Place them into the baking dish with the sauce. Truly never gets old - the best spicy, crunchy, refreshing cucumber salad 🥹🫶🏼🥒 recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -6-8 mini cucumbers (or 2 large cucumbers) -2 tablespoons kosher salt -1/4 cup tablespoon rice vinegar -2 tablespoons soy sauce -1 tablespoon sesame oil -1/2 tbsp gochujang -1/2 to 1 tablespoon gochugaru (depending how spicy you like it) -2 teaspoons granulated sugar -3 garlic cloves, minced -1 tablespoon sesame seeds -1 tablespoon scallions, finely sliced Directions: -Going in a diagonal motion, cut small slits in each cucumber's, being careful not to cut all the way through the cucumber. Once done on one side, flip the cucumber upside down and cut in the same direction in small diagonal slits (this should create a slinky effect). Place into a large bowl. Sprinkle on kosher salt, making sure to get it in the nooks and crannies. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes to draw out excess moisture, then squeeze out the liquid. -In a small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, gochujang, gochugaru, sugar, minced garlic, sesame seeds, and scallions until well combined and sugar is dissolved. -Toss sauce over cucumbers to evenly coat. Best soup in the whole universe 🥹 matzo ball soup aka episode 2 of my Soup-er Bowl (I’m showing you the best soup recipes I have!) recipe below‼️ FOR THE BROTH Ingredients: 5 raw chicken legs 2 stalks celery, chopped 2 large carrots, chopped 2 medium white onions, chopped 1 large rutabega, chopped into small cubes 2 leek stalks, chopped 5 cloves garlic 1 small bunch fresh parsley 1 small bunch fresh dill 10 sprigs fresh thyme 3 bay leaves 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns Kosher salt, to taste Directions: -Place the chicken legs into a tall soup pot and cover with cold water. Bring the water up to a boil over medium-high heat. Once the water comes to a boil, drain and discard the murky water. Cover the chicken legs again with cold water, and return to the heat. -Add the celery, carrots, onions, rutabega, leeks, and garlic into the pot. Gently simmer for about 2 hours. Next, add in the parsley, dill, thyme, bay leaves, and peppercorns. Continue to gently simmer for another 2 hours. -Add in Kosher salt to taste. Once you're happy with your broth, remove the solids and strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve. -Cool the broth, place into a sealed container, and refrigerate overnight. The next day, remove the hardened fat from the top. Heat up the soup in a pot on the stove when you're ready to eat! FOR PRESENTING THE SOUP Ingredients: 1 pack Kosher egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions 1 pack Matzo ball soup mix 2 large eggs 2 tablespoons vegetable oil thinly sliced carrot pieces, to garnish fresh dill sprigs, to garnish Directions: -Cook the Kosher egg noodles in boiling water until al dente. -Meanwhile, prepare the matzo ball mix according to the package instructions (using eggs and vegetable oil). Form the mix into tiny balls, then cook them in salted boiling water according to package instructions. -Heat up the broth in a pot on the stove. Once everything is ready, serve broth in bowls, add in the noodles and matzo balls. Garnish with thinly sliced carrots and sprigs of fresh dill.
