As many of you know, over the past months I’ve been navigating a very difficult situation regarding the lack of credit for my choreography on a viral challenge I created. It’s been an emotional and overwhelming process — one that left me feeling disappointed and discouraged at times. Throughout this experience, I’ve also been facing other personal challenges that made it hard to continue pursuing this situation legally. After much reflection, I’ve made the decision to let it go and focus my energy on what matters most to me: creating, dancing, and growing. And sometimes life has a way of reminding you that your gift will always make room for you. Just a few days ago, I had the absolute honor of being invited on stage to dance for none other than Spice — the Queen of Dancehall herself. 💙👑 This moment means more than words can say, because it reminds me that while credit can be taken, true talent can’t be denied. I’m beyond grateful for every person who has supported me, believed in my work, and continues to lift me up. Here’s to new doors opening, lessons learned, and staying rooted in your passion no matter what. 🙏✨ TO MAKE THINGS CLEAR: Yes, Shenseea did credit me on Instagram multiple times, and I'm grateful for that. But it's important to understand that the dance challenge I created for her verse on "Shake It To The Max (Fly) [Remix]" went viral on TikTok — and I was never credited on that platform, which is where the challenge truly blew up. On top of that, when the official music video was released, my choreography was used throughout, but I wasn't credited there either. As the original choreographer, that was incredibly disappointing and painful to see. Creating this dance took time, intention, and passion — and to have it go viral without being fully recognized in the spaces that mattered most is something I can't just ignore. l've stayed quiet about it for a while, but I want to be honest with you all now because credit matters. Visibility matters. Artists and dancers deserve to be acknowledged for their work in every space where it's being celebrated. #creditcreators #dancersdeservecredit #ShakeltToTheMax #mytruth #claudiak #shenseea #caribbean #viral #dancechallenge #trending #explore #jamaica
