Why have I quit my job as an NHS nurse? 💙 As a gal who found herself at the end of 2024 with no boyfriend, no mortgage and no kids, I realised if there is ever a time in my life for me to further pursue my dream of seeing more of the world it is now! ✈️🌍 So as of Sept I will be hopping on a one way flight solo, starting in Asia and just seeing what happens and where life takes me! Will I work abroad? Potentially yes, in what capacity or where I don’t know yet! I am very much just planning to (excuse the pun) go with the flow. 🩷 Of course I am sad to be leaving my beautiful community staff nurse job which I absolutely love. I am especially gutted to be leaving my team as they are simply the best! I have hand on heart had such a positive experience during the last almost 4 years of my career within the NHS and I’m sure at some point my career within it will continue in some form 💙 I have potentially another 40+ years of nursing to get under my belt so for now my career can wait 🫶🏼 Am I scared? Absolutely.
