Just a reminder, NOTHING happens over night. It’s all about small actions making BIG changes. I know the new year is here and we want to start a new lifestyle but extreme changes aren’t sustainable. We fall guilty of that “all or nothing thinking” where we think it has to be perfect or extreme or we just resort to doing nothing. I started small by just consistently doing something and as time went on, I built a routine that even my third son can be part of with me. The past 2.5 years, I’ve lost slow but steady over 50+ lbs. it’s been a very slow journey trying to figure out what my body will respond to, what makes me feel good and how to push through plateaus. It’s been such a rewarding journey that I’ve continued to document since day #1. Lately, people are just now starting to notice, which makes me feel soooo good!! But it’s like omg what are you doing now? When I never really got that the past 2 years when I lost the majority of the weight. And my answer is “the same thing that I’ve been doing the past 2.5 years, just consistently putting effort in each day and not giving up no matter how frustrated I’ve been.” A lot has been trial and error these past 2.5 years which I can’t wait to share all the things that have made a difference. But overall, I think it’s always the last couple pounds that truly make a difference when people start to notice and that’s okay. BUT just remember, do this journey for YOU.
