Everything I learnt from a @Nikki_makeup masterclass 👀⬇️ thank you for inviting me along @SPACE NK & @Rare Beauty (gifted event) I used contour in shade Mellow in this video and Blush in Happy 💖 - For contour placement, find where your cheek bone starts, and put the product slightly underneath and blend it upwards - Nikki said she often uses 2 brushes for contour, one to apply the product and one to blend and diffuse - She used the “dot dot blend” technique instead of swiping on product to avoid putting too much product on - Blend the contour from the nose onto the eyelids, cheekbones, and temples, forehead if needed - Work quickly with cream/liquid products, if you find particular products move your makeup base around- apply the product to a brush first instead of directly onto skin - For blush, press instead of swipe to avoid moving the makeup underneath, and apply from the apples of cheeks up to temples - I saw Nikki was using the other clean side of brush to blend out the edges - She put liquid highlight onto a small brush instead of directly onto skin, also applied on inner corners of eyes and bridge of nose - Nikki said her most used Rare Beauty product in her kit is currently the contour, used to be the liquid liner, also the pressed blushes (thank you @laucapon for asking the question) - Set with powder in middle of the face, and just underneath the contour/blush to still keep cheeks looking glowy - Sculpt lips for dimension with a liner then go over with lip oil - Nikkis makeup predictions were highlighter coming back in a softer way, less metallic and more balmy/liquid products to create healthy dewy skin, as last year there were not as many highlighter releases in the makeup world (another great question from @laucapon 😂👏🏼) - For eyeliner, find an eyeliner you’re comfortable with holding, one with a fine point, start half way across the eye, and follow the angle of your lower lash line - She applied mascara in a circular motion and used the tip of the brush on the outer lashes to fan them out

Ranking my cream/liquid blushes 💖🍒🍑 @PLOUISE cheek of it - love the formula but the packaging broke so quickly and was hard to squeeze out @r.e.m. beauty cream blush - I wish it packed more of a punch and was creamier/easier to blend @L’Oréal Paris lumi le blush - glowy, shimmery liquid blush @BEAUTY BAY liquid blush - whipped mousey texture but nice and pigment and blend easily @e.l.f. Cosmetics UK camo liquid blush - super pigmented! @Boots UK 17 cosmetics blush drops - SO afforable and stunning glow! @rhode skin pocket blush in freckle - super creamy, blendable, love the colour, dewy finish @madebymitchell curve case in light - again super creamy, pigment, blendable, going to last forever @Nudestix glow core cream blush - OBSESSED with the formula, like the nudestix original blush formula but with added glow!!! I wish these were easier to get hold of, I think they were limited in the UK correct me if I’n wrong! @Rare Beauty - still my fav, you need one dot on each cheek and they blend so easily and have a smooth finish #blush #makeup #liquidblush #creamblush
