Getting hit by not one but TWO drivers in totally different situations was less than ideal. It’s scary to think about how much worse it could have been and I know at the end of the day, I’m lucky with how both of these worked out. I’ve been getting asked about the bumps on the bottom of @Starbucks cups because people have been wondering if it’s braille and while it isn’t, it is still used as an accessibility feature. These bumps are universally accessible, whether you’re a visually impaired barista or just looking at your co-worker while quickly grabbing a cup for the next drink you’re making! I am so grateful this sweet young girl notices I was struggling in the public bathroom and offered to help me find the soap, regardless of the fact that we were strangers and may not have even spoken the same language, given we were in an international airport. Her parents are raising her well, though I’m surprised none of the many adults around us decided to step in. I often find this is the case - people are around and can see me struggling but don’t offer to help until I ask them to. And while I don’t want people to always assume I need help and step in unexpected to do things for me, if it’s OBVIOUS that I’m struggling and need help, I do appreciate when people offer to help out. #StoryTime #Travel #Airport #Bathroom #Tourist #Germany #Frankfurt

I love my guide dog but I also love seeing innovation in the world of tech. This bike is superior to a traditional tandem, in my opinion. I really enjoyed experiencing the Pino bike in Sydney and would LOVE to own one someday!
