#ad #ad Crossed one off our hit list #withAmex! Eyval Brooklyn is a buzzing Persian spot in Bushwick not to be missed! It's incredible using our eligible @American Express Card to get Priority Notify through Global Dining Access by Resy and there's so many elite restaurants on their platform. Si even said their charcoal lamb ribs are one of his favorites dishes he’s had this year, and I have to agree on this one! Terms Apply. #AmexAmbassador
Michelin star Korean steakhouse in NYC Gordon Ramsay has been quoted multiple times recommending COTE Korean Steakhouse and having high praise for their quality of beef! I’m sure he indulges in some of the larger and more premium cuts but the Butcher’s Feast is a great entry point with hangar steak, short rib, American wagyu and dry aged ribeye as well as plenty of sides (banchan). Excellent experience overall, glad we finally made it here. 📍COTE Korean Steakhouse, 16 W 22nd St, New York #nycrestaurants #gordonramsay #cotenyc #ramsayreacts
7 Train Series - Stop 2 Ecuadorean food at Rincón Melania 🇪🇨 Having started out with a street cart, Nestor’s mom opened the restaurant in Sunnyside in 2018 to give both Ecuadoreans a taste of home and Queens residents a taste of something new. They’ve also just opened a second location, Casa Melania, in Maspeth. Must try dishes are the bolon mixto - which comes double fried or classic, Yapingachos, Encebollado and ceviche mixto! 📍 Rincón Melania, 35-19 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY #queensrestaurants #sunnyside #nyceats #ecuadorianfood

7 Train Series - Stop 4 Peruvian-Chinese food and an Irish pub in Woodside, Queens. Another stop which shows the real international influence you have in Queens. For us, these ones are two solid neighbourhood spots as opposed venturing too far out of your way for. It’s a solid pint of Guinness at Donovan’s and friendly service, with a good crowd having a drink en route to the Mets game. At Peking BBQ it’s all about the rotisserie chicken, definitely our favourite out of the dishes that we tried there, though the ribs were pretty good too - I’d probably pass on the lomo saltado. 📍Peking BBQ, 58-11 Woodside Ave, NY 11377 📍Donovan’s Pub, 57-24 Roosevelt Ave, Queens, NY 11377 #7train #queensrestaurants #nycthingstodo #nyceats #chifa
7 Train Series - Stop 1 Argentinian parrillada at R40 LIC 🇦🇷 Underrated is an overused adjective, but this place is exactly that in our opinion - live fire cooking, quality ingredients and a few dishes that you’re not seeing everyday, but this place still seems to fly under the radar. Chef Gio built the restaurant around the custom made grill and the incredible meat that’s cooked on it, but ties in some of the Italian influence, as well as some non-traditional elements, to Argentina’s cuisine. We had the empanadas, focaccia, rigatoni and parrillada - all hits and they even had peach grown in the garden on the focaccia! We’ll be making our way to restaurants along the 7 line starting here in Long Island City all the way out to Flushing, hopping off at a certain amount of express and local stops along the way. A good amount of places are already locked in but we have a few gaps, so we’re more than happy to take suggestions and recommendations from you guys along the way! Shoutout to Chef Francis for putting us on to this one. 📍R40, 47-16 Vernon Blvd, Long Island City, NY #longislandcity #queensrestaurants #nyceats #queensny
James Beard award winning Senegalese & New Orleans style tasting menu at Dakar Nola 🇸🇳 Chef Serigne Mbaye is cooking dishes inspired by his mother’s recipes, restaurants he’s worked in and the bounty of the gulf coast. 📍 Dakar Nola, 3814 Magazine Street, New Orleans #nolarestaurants #neworleansfood #jamesbeardawards #bestrestaurants
7 Train Series - Stop 7 Palacio de Los Pepitos 🇻🇪 We went for the Pepito Mini Maestro with smoked pork, chorizo, chicken, ham, cheese, corn, multiple sauces and papas fritas. Honestly, thought it may be a bit over top but while it’s certainly a treat, it all comes together so well - indulgent comfort food and a Venezuelan street food specialty. It’s a pretty simple, no-frills set up and they’re cooking everything on one flat top right in the street, so it’s not the spot for everyone but they’re certainly cooking up very good sandwiches. 📍Palacio de Los Pepitos, 91-08 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson Heights #queensrestaurants #nyceats #pepito #sandwiches
7 Train Series - Stop 9 @Maxi’s Noodle in Flushing 🍜 Having trained for 6 months in the art of wonton making, Maxi fulfilled her and her mom’s dream by opening a Hong Kong style noodle shop in downtown Flushing. Her signature massive wontons and duck egg noodles have made her stand out and drawn in crowds from all around for comforting bowl after bowl. Get the wonton noodle soup with beef stew topping, but don’t forget to order one with the dumplings in too! 📍Maxi’s Noodle, 135-11 38th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354 #flushing #chinatown #chinatownnyc #wonton #nyceats

7 Train Series - Stop 6 Jackson Heights Food Crawl It’s one of the best neighborhoods for food in NYC, especially when it comes to the amount of international options. We went to Phayul for both steamed and fried beef momos, Fuska House for their namesake dish (note - there’s lots of carts in this area and two from this same owner) and Mariscos El Submarino for aguachile verde and El Gobernador taco. 📍Phayul, 37-65 74th Street, Jackson Heights 📍Fuska House, 7301 37th Ave, Jackson Heights 📍Mariscos El Submarino, 8805 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson Heights #jacksonheights #queensnyc #globalfood #momos
7 Train Series - Stop 5 Angel Indian Restaurant in Jackson Heights 🇮🇳 It’s one of the best neighborhoods for food and this is one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood! Been coming to this spot for years now after a recommendation from Eat Your World. It’s still just as good as it used to be, perhaps even better as Chef Amrit continues to add dishes to the menu every now and then whilst keeping the hits like biryani and adraki lamb chops. Go for the goat or chicken biryani, lamb adraki, chooza tikka, paneer pb35, chole batura or paneer kulcha if you go here. 📍Angel Indian Restaurant, 7414 37th Rd, Jackson Heights, NY #jacksonheights #indianfood #nyceats #globalfood
7 Train Series - Stop 3 Sunnyside food crawl! It’s a neighborhood that has lots of awesome quick service international food spots, so we thought why not feature a few of them in our third stop eating along the 7 train. We started at Souk Al Shater, which was recently taken over by new owners who seem to have kept the same quality shawarma and have maybe even improved it slightly! We then made our way to Philomena’s for a fantastic NY slice and a fun ‘dragon’s breathe’ slice too, before heading to one of Lauren’s all time favorites Bolivian Llama Party for their salteñas and finishing up the day at Butcher Block, an Irish grocery story where you can also get a lot of English goodies too. 📍Souk Al Shater, 43-03 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 📍Philomena’s Pizza, 4116 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 📍Bolivian Llama Party, 44-14 48th Ave, Sunnyside, NY 📍Butcher Block, 43-46 41st St, Sunnyside, NY #sunnyside #queenseats #nyceats #nycrestaurants
