He came. He saw. He served… looks. 🇨🇦 When you show up to Banff’s iconic lakes dressed as a Canadian icon (a Mountie) …and accidentally become one. 🇨🇦 As soon as I started taking his photos the tourists started swarming, asking me to get out of the way of their shot 🤪 and Waffs was standing there like: “WTF is happening, they aren't giving me bacon, I don't work for free”. Thought these were the perfect memories to share on Canada Day 🍁 from your favorite national treasure in a tiny Mountie hat! If you don't know, the purple button is a button made famous by Waffles and it is not a button that his brother Bosley, the black dog, has ever used before. So I was quite shocked to see him use it, as was Waffles who jumped off the couch to join in the conversation. Now the next question is, were they using the buttons correctly? Did Waffles mean to use the button stranger to mean it was odd that Bosley was using that button? Do you think it's possible for Waffles to understand what that stranger button meant? I was skeptical so when I asked them if they were just pushing random buttons, Waffles did clarify with a yes. So the bigger question is, did he truly understand my second question and answer that with the affirmative yes? I'll be honest that there are quite a few buttons that they do know and use regularly such as asking for treats or to play or for me to pay attention to them (the “get over here” button) or the b1tch button when he is frustrated. But I don't see them using buttons like stranger that often. It was used a while back when we had a bad thunderstorm. So hard to say, if he truly understands an abstract concept like that or not. I mean, he wasn't wrong to use it in that context and I did try to agree with him in his use of that button, but I do struggle sometimes with how you teach abstract concepts like that. When it's not something that you can model often, such as a treat or a toy how do you truly know that they have grasped what a button like that means? If you want to see more of waffles, using the purple button, just go back in our feed and you should see several examples, he is quite the savage with that button!! 🎶Music Epidemic Sound: Don't Wak'em Up - Playtown dog buzzers with words, dog talking, talking dog buttons, talking dogs with buttons #talkingdog #talkingdogs #funnydogvideos #yorkie #waffsandboz #dogbuttons
