day in the life of Cole? :) So, what does this internet simp turned monk mode bald guy actually do? I get out of bed at 5am every morning. I don't do this because I think it's cool. I do this because the world is silent at 5am. I think of the first few hours of my day as my focus time since during the day I'm putting out fires and on meetings with the rest of my team. After showering and brushing my teeth, I shoot my long-distance girlfriend, Syd, a daily "good morning" text. Then, I hop straight onto my PC. Next, I head over into ClickUp, our work management software, and see what's on my plate for the day. I drop a quick message in the standup channel, letting the rest of the team know what I'm working on or if I need anything from them. Then, I simply just get to work. Depending on the day, this might be... Copywriting. Filming content. Reviewing our financial statements from our finance team. Or working on new features for my company's AI video generation platform, OSSA.AI. My focus block is 5am - 11am every day. Then typically after 11am will be meetings. Whether that be meeting with our software engineers to review and plan new features. Meeting with my Co-Founder Brennan to review sales metrics. Or meeting with my video editors to plan out and give feedback on content. From 11am to 2pm is also where I would schedule interviews if we are in the process of bringing on new talent. After 2pm, I'll typically do one more focus block for a couple of hours, then around 4pm to 5pm I'll go work out. Then after that, I typically spend 7pm and on chatting with Syd on FaceTime or binge-watching some YouTube or Netflix. And yeah, somewhere in there I find some time to eat. I fall asleep with Syd on FaceTime at around 10pm, then I wake up and do the same thing all over again. And that is a day in the life of Colewherld. :) Lmk in the comments if you want me to do more day in the life content!
Comment "SKOOL" and I'll send you the link :) About a year ago, I ran one of the craziest social media experiments on social media. Many know me as the relationship guy—the guy who has a long-distance girlfriend. I decided it was time to change and started learning valuable business skills that would serve my future. But I didn't want to lose my social media momentum or shift my brand just yet. So what did I do? I went through my rolodex of over 5,000 short-form videos and found the most viral 180 videos from the past half-decade of creating content. Then, I created a Google Drive with these videos and named them #1 to #180. Next, I hired a social media manager to post these videos for me on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This strategy took me from 0 to 800k+ subscribers on YouTube and from 100k to 290k+ on Instagram. While people mindlessly consumed my recycled content, I was in the background building OSSA.AI, my tech startup. Now that I have spent 7 days a week for the past 2 years fully dedicated to OSSA.AI, I've decided it's time to start telling people what's really going on with my life. Over this time period, I garnered over 1 billion views and used that ad revenue to fund my tech startup. I wonder if anyone noticed? #ossa #coleandsyd #colewherld
"we want the old Cole back" 😬 The biggest social media personalities—Connor McGregor, Jake Paul, Taylor Swift, Mr. Beast, Kim Kardashian—are either adored or disliked. That’s the reality when you’re in the spotlight. It’s something I’ve experienced firsthand. As my following grew from my relationship content, I noticed a shift. Some people loved what I had to say, while others weren’t so happy. I've been meme'd so many times online lol. Funny enough, it's happening again now that I’m switching up my content. A portion of my community is all-in, loving the new direction, while another part can’t stand it. But here’s the thing—when attention is the most valuable currency, both reactions matter. I’ll take it. :)
Comment 'JOIN' and I'll send it you! ⬇️ If you’ve ever tried recording the screen on Facetime... You know the audio isn’t saved. Which doesn’t happen for privacy reasons. And that is annoying if you're tryna create content like I have. So what’s a way around it? You’re going to need two phones. The one you’re using to Facetime… And another one you’ll use to record the audio. Here’s what you do: 1. Open voice memos on your second phone. 2. Hold your second phone under your first phone. 3. Then hit record on both at the same time: 4. To screen record the Facetime conversation on your first phone… 5. And record the audio on your second phone via voice memos. That’s it. All that’s left is to sync your separately recorded audio to your video. You can use video editing apps like CapCut and Splice to do this. DM me on IG for access to my free Skool community. :) #skool #shortformcontent #recordaudioonfacetime #facetimeaudio #recordfacetime
This almost crushed our relationship… 😬❤️ Until I realized this ONE thing. I started working on my company OSSA.AI back in late 2022… Before that time, my long-distance girlfriend, Syd, and I had been used to seeing each other every 3 to 4 weeks. We were spending thousands of dollars on flights… And my life consisted of filming those Facetime videos, editing them, and showcasing Syd and I’s life. But here’s the thing. I have the type of personality where if I’m gonna do something… I’m gonna go all in – And quite frankly, I wasn’t clear with her from the start about how much time and attention building my company was gonna take. And it backfired. A few months ago, when I was visiting Syd in Chicago, it reached a breaking point. We were sitting in a coffee shop called Stans Donuts (by the way they have the best donuts in the world)… And we had to have an honest conversation. It was through this conversation that I realized what Syd’s main concern was… She didn’t want me to be so purely focused on the business that I wasn’t able to enjoy any time with her. And she was right. I was so focused on my business… That I forgot who has been my number one supporter from the start. So how did I actually solve this? I was honest with her. I told Syd the business is moving incredibly well… But I can’t give her some perfect timeline on when things will start operating and require me less. And there are things you love… And I think the best thing we can do is never try to remove those things from our life but find a balance. Long distance really multiplied the effects of this… Because whenever we see each other, it’s super hectic… I’m trying to wake up early, workout, and do a little bit of work… But she still wants to do things… And it’s always going to be finding balance and being honest with each other. My best advice to you - MANY times problems and relationships can be solved by sitting down and having a mature conversation. Follow for more life advice. :) #colewherld #cole
Do ya'll agree with me here?? 🤔 None of the gurus will tell you this... but you should let your girlfriend go on trips without you. And the reason why I do this might surprise you… Recently, everyone’s been asking me for relationship advice. Apparently, because I’ve fostered one of the most famous long-distance relationships, gaining over 4 billion views and 7 million followers from it, that gives me credibility to talk on the subject. So here I go… A lot of self-help gurus you most likely look up to online tell you that your significant other can’t go out with her friends or can’t go on a trip without you. But after having a successful long-distance relationship for the past three and a half years, I can confidently say they’re not correct. For those of you that don’t know, Syd speaks French, and France is her favorite place to visit. We’ve been wanting to travel there together for the past couple of years. But the timing just hasn’t worked out. Syd wanted to go this summer with me, but my main focus has been building my tech startup, OSSA.AI. And while I’d love to go to France… I’d rather buy a place there soon once my tech startup gets acquired by Mr. Zuck. So, Syd went to France last month. Now, you’d probably think: “Oh Cole, aren’t you worried that she’s gonna be going out without you?” “What about all the guys there?” Reasonable question for sure. But the reality is she’s always traveling with her mother, and the trust Syd and I have for each other is unbreakable. Yeah… I have made some mistakes and broken that trust along the way, but we’ve learned and moved on from it. The reality is a lot of these dudes online tell you that your girl can’t do anything without you around. But they live in a bubble where every girl’s flights, food, etc., are paid for by a bunch of rich dudes. My advice is ALWAYS to focus on yourself. If you’re high-value enough and a great partner, why would your girlfriend want to do anything to harm that? That’s the vibe we’re on... And a lot of internet gurus are just parroting the same message that makes zero sense. Tag your significant other if you agree. #relationships #couple #longdistance
