⚠️ This is a new version of a bank scam and it almost got my friend. 

The main difference here is that they tell you you’re getting a “case number” for your fraud case but in reality it’s a phone number and then they’ll ask you to put that into a payment app to do a test transaction. They’re also mentioning public wifi as a way to scare people into thinking they’ve been hacked and that their information has been compromised. 

It’s a scam. Remember, BANKS NEVER ASK THAT.
