Replying to @Jasminestar26 here it is! How to blur your home on Google Maps. You can blur your home or more specific things like a license plate or face of someone in the driveway. It’s the same process and you can do it from most of your devices- tablet, computer & smartphone. #googlemaps #howto #privacy #cybersecurity #crimeprevention #safetytips #scammers #tutorial #blur

For the outdoors there’s a lot of alternative options like using rope or fabric spider webs- try that instead. #halloweendecor #spiderwebs #safetytips #decorating #halloween #wildlife #protect #psa #animallover
#verizonpartner The Gizmo is your starter device BEFORE the smartphone. My family used this when my nieces were old enough to ride bike around the neighborhood on their own & wanted to chat with family but were still too young for a smartphone. @Verizon #verizon #smartphone #cybersafety #onlinesafety #parentingtips #teens #gizmo #gizmowatch #safetytips #childsafety #digitalsafety #kidsonline
Floridians definitely know how to prep but this is a tip for the aftermath, especially if there’s damage. And regardless of whether your area experiences natural disasters, I’d still recommend doing this at least once a year in case of water leaks or other types of damage. #hurricane #hurricanemilton #florida #preparation #safetyfirst #safetytips #tampa #insurance
👶 If you use Waze this seems like a must! The downside: • You’ll only get a reminder if you’re using the app to navigate so for quick local trips where you already know your way, you probably wouldn’t be using the app, which means, no reminder. • It only allows for one custom message at a time. #babysafety #childsafety #carseatsafety #heatstroke #parents #hotcar #safetytips #tipsandtricks #safetyfirst #waze #survival
🎃 Every year I see these types of posts and it’s never felt right. I understand some kids don’t follow the ‘take one’ rule, but my opinion is that the crime doesn’t fit the punishment. #safetytips #privacy #halloween #parents #ask #onlinesafety #safetyfirst #respect

Reminder: You can (& should) visit a free car seat inspection site to get your seats checked. There are hundreds of them all over the country. Safe Kids has a map where you can see what’s offered in your area, but you can also check with your local PD or call you car seat manufacturer. They have CPSTs and the phone that can help as well. #carseatsafety #parents #childpassengersafety #cpsweek #childsafetymonth #safety #aaa #safetyfirst #newmom

⚠️ This is a new version of a bank scam and it almost got my friend. The main difference here is that they tell you you’re getting a “case number” for your fraud case but in reality it’s a phone number and then they’ll ask you to put that into a payment app to do a test transaction. They’re also mentioning public wifi as a way to scare people into thinking they’ve been hacked and that their information has been compromised. It’s a scam. Remember, BANKS NEVER ASK THAT. Thank you to the American Bankers Association for sponsoring this important message. #ABApartner #banksneveraskthat #cybermonth #safetytips #onlinesafety #cybersafety #cybersecurity #bankscam #scamalert #psa
Don’t forget to replace these abd stsy on top of expiration dates. Registering your products also helps with this because companies can remind you of expiration dates + let you know about recalls. #safetytips #safetyfirst #momfriend #homesafety #didyouknow #expired
Updated one of my most viral hacks! A few things: • The businesses like Amazon are just an example. I’m not suggesting they sell data like that but other websites do. • When you contact a business to opt out, they might not do anything but it’s worth a shot. #LearnOnTikTok #dataprivacy #databroker #LifeHack #cybersecurity #safetytips #onlinesafety
