For the past few days since I shared my journey with plastic surgery in Korea, I've been getting comments saying I hate myself or am ungrateful for what God gave me, even quoting Bible verses. Here’s the thing: cisgender people may never fully understand the trans experience, and honestly, I don’t expect you to. Some of you have religious biases that cloud your judgment. For us trans folks, surgeries like these aren't for validation or approval – they're for survival. In a world that too often isolates, judges, or even harms us, these surgeries are life-changing and, for many, life-saving. I’m grateful and blessed to have this opportunity to live authentically.
