When you started binge eating you didn’t know any better. The reason it’s so hard to tell if you’re hungry or not is because every time your body tries to tell you something you distract yourself. Feeling sad —> Runs to food. Getting hungry —> Cleans the house Overstimulated —> Ice cream for comfort Super stressed —> Scrolls TikTok for hours Finally eats —> Shame yourself for it It’s hard or hear your body when you aren’t listening.
