I grew up differently, thinking that it has to be forced. Let’s just say my upbringing forced me to be judgmental and I’m very proud of myself that I turned myself around in the last decade. It’s very hard to change your brain when you were raised a certain way. But it’s doable and I’m proof of that. Especially with how I raise my children. It’s really taught me a different perspective. I truly do believe, forcing something like a hijab would literally turn them away from the religion.
