My friend Eddie Kastrul from Midwest Motorcycle over here in Daytona did this for Hurricane Ian 🙌🏼 I didnt learn about it until it was too late, but i did put it to the test for Hurricane Nicole and to my surprise did help a bit. So yesterday I did it to my Aunt’s house who also flooded during Hurricane Ian and on my way to do it to my moms condo! Anything is better than nothing 🙏

Is our house Hurricane proof?! We might be finding out wayyyy sooner than I wanted to. Besides the garage doors our house is completely dried in this time around. I’m not ready to find out if we have a Hurricane proof house 😭! It looks like the west side of Florida is getting the direct hit, however this Hurricane is Massive! The east side tends to be the worst side so we are expecting a storm surge, tornadoes, and lots of rain. I’ll keep you guys updated! 🙏 for everyone in its path 💕

If the house 100% done and we were already living in it, then I would definitely ride it out, Unless a mandatory order was given, but thats not the case. And the Airbnb we are currently in flooded during Ian and Nicole so we are also prepping that house, but the girls and I are going to stay with Jorge since Vinny is a mandated worker for the county. Keeping everyone in our prayers 🙏 I’ll keep you updated with our trail cams. #disastertodreamhome

My mom’s condo got water in it during Hurricane Nicole so I figured a little spray foam/ flex seal couldn’t hurt. The surge is supposed to be high and expecting up to 20” of rain. @eastcoastdiymom 🙏
