Unfair detainments, racial profiling, and discrimination. This should never be normalized. There’s a lot of injustice in the world and I wanted to bring awareness the way I know how, with my voice and my heart. As a Mexican American woman and daughter of an immigrant, I’ve seen firsthand how someone’s skin color or accent can change the way they’re treated. My dad’s story shaped me and I’m so proud of where I come from and who I am. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
