Replying to @Ashley Marie What did we learn here? This is very mild compared to what he has done but I still wanted to go over this especially because of the timeline and how things escalate. He used our dogs against us to gain access to our camper. We should of changed code right away but thought if this happened again we would need him to check on dogs. “Maybe it was hot and cooled off by the time we got there”. We made excuses for him. Then when he knocked on my door but was shocked when I answered. As if he was going to put my passcode in to enter if nobody answered. Also let’s normalize not asking when someone’s going to have a baby. I’ve had a lot of friends try and get asked this and it hurts. Oh and let’s not shift blame here. Yes, the convo should of happened before we got married but it wouldn’t of changed anything. I’m not stuck, I’m not settling and I’m not just “content”. I think kids are great and precious but its just not for us. I’m happy I didn’t pressure him to say yes when everyone else was coming down on me to make it happen. This needs to be a mutual decision if one of us ever changes our mind. No one will be forced into this.
