I may have skipped leg day but that doesn’t make me receiving the @Great Run finisher medal any less valid. Self propelling a wheelchair takes a lot of upper body strength and is something I was once told would never be possible due to my left hand/wrist deformity. That 13.1 miles was one of the hardest things I’ve put my body through and I am proud of what I accomplished. I only just moved from a power chair to a manual chair just over 6 months ago 🥹 I can’t believe I was able to actually do this! Don’t get me wrong, this was extremely difficult but I managed to get to the finish line in 2hrs47mins and proved my old OT very wrong! What should I challenge myself to next?
