#ad Time to start assembling these stairs! First step is getting all the treads on the wall side of the stairs glued and set in the mortises. I used the @Festool Canada TXS 18 and TPC 18 drills to drill the pilot hole and drive in the GRK screws to suck the tenons tight into the mortises instead of using clamps as it was faster and if I used clamps I would have had to do it in sections as I wouldn’t have had enough clamps to do them all at once @Titebond Products

Putting the second stair stringer on. Lifted it in place, made sure everything was lined up right, got it part way on, added some @Titebond Products 3 to help make it so the stairs wouldn’t squeak, hammered it all the down and added the @boratool clamps. I’m sure some will be a bit critical that I used glue and clamps after I spent all the time making the wedged tenons. Yes it’s true I didn’t need the glue for strength or to hold the stairs together. I used it to prevent squeaking but I also wanted the look of the wedged tenons and I wanted to try make them. Yes also could have not used clamps and just used the wedges but since I put the glue in and was on a timer and work alone it was better to just add the clamps quick to get things in place just in case I had any issues with the wedges 👍

Full vanity base build video with so many great tools and products that played a part. You can really see how the Barth work bench really helps the process. Of course @Festool Canada @Titebond Products @Bow Products @Blaklader Workwear always playing a big roll and now @mafell.de_offiziell really coming in handy for mortises on this project. I would post the full vanity build but Instagram has limits on the length of videos so I will post the top build next

#ad Definitely the longest glue up I’ve done! Broke out the big @Titebond Products jug and the glue roller and 26 @boratool clamps and needed two Bora sawhorses to extend the already extended workbench. I was sprinting on this one to get it done in time!

#ad Vacation tools! Pretty neat cordless cooler/warmer from @Einhell Canada 👍 you can plug it into your car, into an outlet or use a battery. Took the family to the Oregon coast and this has been used some days to keep food and drinks cool and other days to keep it warm since Oregon weather changes its mind often 😁
