Our family made a glowing moon float on a lake for a photo! 🌙 #CanonPartner Months of planning and weeks of building the moon came down to just 30 minutes of capturing it all 😳. To say this build would make us question our life choices along the way is an understatement, but now we have a fun moon chair for our living room 😅. We really only had one chance to capture this photo because we had to assemble the moon, barrels and floating platform together on location. I captured the photo in-camera using the @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II! Is fangirling over a camera a thing? Because if so, that’s me. Our family made a spooky pumpkin car for a photo! 🎃 #CanonPartner we conjured up a little Halloween magic and transformed our magical carriage that we made over summer into a spooky pumpkin car for our two little foxes 🦊. Oliver drove through the haunted forest (also known as our driveway) while Eloise held on for dear life, and I captured the moment with the new @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II! This camera feels like a magic wand when it comes to capturing low-light conditions with little to no noise. Our family recreated the graveyard scene from the original Beetlejuice! 🪲 this photo was a labor of love to say the least and there were many learning curves along the way, including a windy storm on the day of the photoshoot 😅. It took weeks to plan and create the rolling set. We really wanted to capture a real life moment inspired by the original Beetlejuice movie, which meant all practical effects! From the tree, to the sign, to the foam grass shown in the model town, we made a practical photo set that could move around our entire yard (which will be great for future photos too). Oliver had so much fun playing Beetlejuice, and we are all going to be Beetlejuice characters for Halloween now 😂. We’ll sharing a longer video soon showing how we made each prop.
